A Coastal Fair – Holiday Musical Revue and Fair
Come On Board
for the COASTAL CHRISTMAS FAIR
~
Friday, December 1 : Opening Night for the Fair (6:30 pm) and Holiday Musical Review (7:00 pm)
Saturday, December 2: Fair Day – 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Proceeds from the Fair will benefit two local organizations.
NEW ENGLAND AQUARIUM SEA TURTLE HOSPITAL, QUINCY POINT (located in the former Fore River shipyard property) Hundreds of endangered sea turtles are saved here every year. Many of these sea turtles are found cold-stunned, sick and injured — stranded on Cape Cod beaches in the late fall/winter.
INTERFAITH SOCIAL SERVICES, QUINCY: Back in 1947, Quincy Point Congregational Church was one of the founding partners of the original social services organization. Each year, Interfaith Social Services provides “groceries, diapers and personal care products to more than 21,000 hungry neighbors,” in 14 communities on the South Shore. ISS offers counseling services, helps people to avoid homelessness through the HOMESAFE program and provides seasonal programs to bring joy to children.
NEW THIS YEAR AT THE FAIR: Furry Friends Pet Boutique, Ocean Upcycle, Denim Recycle, Turtle Town Table, Christmas Creche Shop, New England Lighthouse Calendars
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
- Donations of gently used jewelry are always welcome!
- We are collecting new and almost new children’s books to be donated through ISS. (Do you have a favorite Bedtime Board Book you would like to share?)
- Sign-up lists to make Holiday Cookies and to volunteer to work at the fair will be available in October and November. Stay tuned for additional opportunities!
