
Earth Day Celebration with Shared Habitat Earth
As part of their current exhibit at the QArts Gallery in Quincy, artists of Shared Habitat Earth will offer special ways to celebrate this year’s Earth Day:
In Quincy Center, at the United First Parish Church at Hancock/Adams Common, there will be 3 free creative workshops facilitated by SHE artists, beginning at 1PM:
— Printing “Green Future” t-shirts (Agusta Agustsson)
–Creating Birds from up-cycled materials (Marsha N. Odabashian, Yvonne Lamothe)
–Creating artbooks (Ronni Komarow)
Gallery Talks at QArts Gallery, 1229 Hancock St., Quincy, at 3pm
–Nathan Phillips, Professor of Earth and Environment at Boston University:
“How Art Influences Science”
–Kaveh Mojtabai, Publisher Artscope Magazine:
“Arts Create Community and Raise Awareness”
And finally, from 3:45 to 4:00, a Parade by the Children, who will show off their work with live music provided by “Bella Terra”
