H.H. Richardson and Frederick Law Olmsted: A Friendship
Join us for a short talk with a National Park Service Ranger from Frederick Law Olmsted National Historic Site on the friendship and collaboration between two famous locals- landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted and architect H.H. Richardson. Together, they designed the Thomas Crane Library in Quincy. These “brother-artists” collaborated on a number of other designs, included the libraries of North Easton and Malden, the Buffalo Hospital, and Stonehurst. The talk will take place on the Main Library lawn.
