Ticks are a re-emerging threat to human health. There at least 10 diseases in Massachusetts. Each can have life-changing consequences. What if I told you that you could enjoy the outdoors without worrying about ticks?

The key is awareness and education, not fear. By understanding tick biology, we can make informed decisions to prevent tick bites and disease.

Join our workshop! Learn science-based information to keep you and your family healthy. Blake Dinius will be sharing information on:

  • Mysteries behind tick biology and ecology
  • History of tick-borne disease in America from past to present
  • Empowering protection methods
  • Simple landscaping tips to prevent bites

Blake graduated with a degree in Biology from the University of Massachusetts – Boston. Soon after, he began a 7-year career in ecotoxicology, where he directed studies on bees, lacewings, springtails, earthworms, and other critters.
