Homesteading Basics: Canning and Food Preservation (In-Person)
Join Anna Muhammad and Dora Muhammad of the Northeast Organic Farming Association in person at the Thomas Crane Public Library as they teach us the basics in food preservation. They will demonstrate with seasonal vegetables that can be grown in your backyard or purchased in your local supermarket, and will teach us to make and preserve dill pickles. This is part of our Homesteading series in helping Quincy residents get back to the basics.
Please note that capacity for this event will be limited and masks are recommended. Doors will open 15 minutes before the start of the program.
