Invasive Plant Cleanup Event

Join the Quincy Department of Natural Resources & the Invasive Species Management Committee, for a community invasive species management event on 6/27 from 2-4 pm. We will be pulling & cutting non-native invasive plants that are harming the natural ecosystem, then planting beneficial native species to help restore the area. Work will be in the City-owned open space off Harriet Ave by the entrance & along a wooded trail near a salt marsh in the Neponset estuary.

*No experience necessary & all ages welcome!
*Water, bug spray & sunscreen are recommended.
*Bring gloves & tools if you have them or borrow our supplies.
