People of the Dawn: History of the Wampanoag People (Outside)

Join Tim Turner, Plimoth Patuxet Museums’ Associate Director for Indigenous Education, to learn about the daily life of the Wampanoag in the 17th century, as well as their current lives and communities. Explore the connection the Wampanoag and other Native people have to Mother Earth, their seasonal way of life, and their respect for all living beings.

Timothy Turner is a member of the Cherokee Nation and Plimoth Patuxet Museums’ Associate Director for Indigenous Education with more than thirty years of experience teaching Indigenous history in classrooms, online, and at the Museum.

This event will be held outside on the front lawn of the main library. In the case of bad weather, the event will be moved indoors.
