Safety, Privacy and Dating Online Webinar w/ DOVE (Domestic Violence Awareness Month)

Join us in learning about and spreading domestic violence awareness with DOVE throughout the month of October! Since their founding in 1978, DOVE has expanded from a crisis hotline to a multi-service organization providing comprehensive direct services and support for victims of dating and domestic violence, as well as their children. This month-long series consists of four events open to both adults and teens. All events are free to attend.

On Tuesday, October 10th at 7 PM,  join speakers from DOVE for a discussion on how to date safely online. Whether you are a teen or an older adult, most connections today are starting online. Is there a way to do this safely? We will talk about red flags, green flags and other safety tips. How do I know if I am talking to the person I think I am? What do I do if they want to meet in person? What are red flags that this person could be unhealthy or abusive? What green flags can I get excited about?
