Join us for a matinee screening of Jaws starring Roy Scheider & Robert Shaw. An enormous great white shark terrorizes a summer resort town, where a police chief, a grizzled fisherman and an intrepid marine biologist realize they’re “gonna need a bigger boat” to battle the bloodthirsty beast. An Oscar winner for sound, editing and John Williams’ score. Rated PG

September 13 | Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret.
A plucky eleven-year-old named Margaret finds her life on the cusp of change as her family uproots from the heart of the city to a quiet suburban neighborhood. Margaret must then navigate the ups and downs of adolescence, including new friends, new feelings, and, ultimately, a new sense of self. Based on the novel of the same name by Judy Blume. Rated PG-13

September 20 | Book Club: The Next Chapter
A close-knit group of four women entering their golden years of life decides to embark on a no-holds-barred luxury excursion to Italy. September 27 | Grizzly Man
Werner Herzog directed this fascinating documentary exploring the life and death of Timothy Treadwell, an eccentric grizzly-bear enthusiast who spent 13 summers in Alaska living with grizzlies, and was killed by one of them in 2003. The film includes Treadwell’s own video footage and interviews with friends. Rated R
