The Letters of John and Abigail Adams and the Dialect of the Revolution

On Monday, October 3, 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., join Dr. Joe Alberti and Genoa Davidson for a theatrical performance based on the letters of John and Abigail Adams. Writers and actors, Alberti and Davidson spent two years researching and recreating the dialect of the Massachusetts Bay Area during the Revolutionary War. The performance is the first act of a larger work, currently under book contract. Part of the evening will feature their research and the process of reconstructing a dialect before the advent of audio recording. Event will be held in the Community Meeting Room at the Thomas Crane Public Library.
