Boston, Quincy, Plymouth:

Quincy’s location between Boston and Plymouth makes it the perfect base for exploring Massachusetts’ rich colonial history. After a day of visiting Quincy Market, Cheers, the Old North Church and Boston’s numerous other attractions, spend a day discovering all that historic Quincy has to offer: Visit the Adams National Historical Park, the USS Salem , Marina Bay, or set sail for a harbor cruise or whale watch. Then it’s off to “America’s Hometown” for the famed Plymouth Rock, a tour of the Mayflower II and a visit to Plimoth Plantation to experience life in 1627.

Revolutionary Tour:

Relive the patriotic fervor that swept through Massachusetts in the days leading up to the American Revolution. Begin at Boston’s Old North Church, where Paul Revere received the signal that prompted his famous midnight ride. Follow Revere’s route out to Lexington & Concord, where the shot heard ‘round the world changed history forever. Then return to Quincy for a visit to John Adams’ farm, where the Massachusetts State Constitution – the model for the U.S. Constitution – was drafted, and a visit to “Peacefield,” the Adams Mansion that served as the summer White House for John Adams and his son, President John Quincy Adams.

Presidential Tour:

Quincy is located within easy driving distance of four presidential birthplaces. After visiting the Adams National Historical Park, drive by the birthplace of President George H.W. Bush in nearby Milton before heading to Brookline and the birthplace of President John F. Kennedy. Conclude your presidential tour with a visit to the John F. Kennedy Library in Dorchester, MA.

Maritime Tours:

Relive the adventure of seafaring life with a journey through Massachusetts’ nautical past. Visit Salem’s Maritime National Historical Park before experiencing life on a Cold War era heavy cruiser on board Quincy’s USS Salem. Then journey south to New Bedford, where this former whaling capital’s history is carefully preserved.

National Park Tours:

Historic Quincy offers easy access to the following national parks: Adams National Historical Park, Boston National Historical Park, Boston Harbor Islands National Park; Lexington’s Minuteman National Park; Salem’s Maritime National Historical Park; and New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park.
